Queen Elizabeth has passed away. On September 8, 2022 news broke to the world that the longest reigning monarch Queen Elizabeth died at the age of 96. "God Save the Queen" Elizabeth had recently celebrated her Platinum Jubilee marking 70 years on the throne. Now her funeral and planned celebration of life was called "Operation London Bridge." As the UK begins 10 days of mourning, her funeral is planned for September 19, 2022. There were 2000 attendees at Westminster Abbey including 90 world leaders. Big Ben tolled 96 times once for each year of her life. William and Kate were now the Prince and Princess of Wales with Prince William now the first in line to be King of England. King Charles III is now the 40th Monarch with Camilla now the Queen Consort. But the celebration wasn not without it's share of drama. Drama Queens Harry and Meghan attended and with Harry's book "Spare" coming out soon and their Netflix documentary Tell All... you could see the brothers and King Charles were trying to navigate the family drama with some simbliance of decorum. In his Speech King Charles wished Harry and Meghan "I want to express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas." So British... and Chilly. King Charles Coronation date is still to be determinined...and we wonder if Harry and Meghan will be invited. Any Bets?
